Keep a track of your calories
Now there are two types of calories- one that make you fat and the other which are actually good for you.
You need to eat quality food/calories.

1) High-Protein breakfast
A recent study proved that eating a high protein breakfast can help you to reduce your calorie intake and also stimulates a feeling of full. In this way you can cut down your calories and lose weight. This includes Quinoa, Oatmeal, Eggs(eat both yolk and egg whites) and some vegetables.
2) Fibrous diet
Adding fibres to your diet helps you to lose weight faster. As fibres go around the body without being digested, you feel full for a longer period of time. These include wholegrain breads/toast, beans, fruits like oranges, pears. NOTE – Eat whole fruits and don’t consume juice.
3) Eat green vegetables
I know that you don’t like to eat green veggies(you are not alone), but this is a must if you’re trying to reduce weight. Moreover, it helps to normalise your blood pressure and causes various benefits. People who eat more vegetables are about 20% less prone to obesity than others.
4) No condiments
That’s right!! If you eat your well planned diet with a variety of condiments or sauce, you are destroying your meal. A lot of calories are increased if you use condiments. You can always go for options like horseradish or hot-sauce which contain low calories.
Now, although non-veg foods provide a good source of proteins, here are some food items for vegans and vegetarians for proteins
Tofu
Tofu is a great source of proteins. It is made from bean curds pressed together. I highly recommend this for vegetarians.
Lentils
Yet another great source of proteins are lentils. An estimated 200 cup of cooked lentils contains approximately 14 grams of proteins.
Chickpeas and beans
Chickpeas and kidney beans are the most protein rich among this category. You can eat them roasted or boil them and add it to your diet.

Squats
This is the best exercise for beginners. It helps to strengthen your leg(calf) muscles and reduce fat(especially in thighs). Remember to keep your bank straight and hips hinged.
Skipping Ropes
It is a good way of burning calories. It burns about 18 calories per minute.
Lunges
Another exercise to lose leg fat. Moreover it increases balance and hip flexibility.
Leg raises
This helps to lose belly fat. Just lay down on your back and lift your legs together(without bending).
Bicycling
It is one of the best ways to burn calories(especially if you’re a beginner).
These exercises are a must if you’re trying to lose weight fast.
The best workout set for burning fat for beginners
1) 30 seconds jumping/jumping jacks for warm-up.
2) 15 seconds squats.
3) 15 seconds lunges.
4) 30 seconds high-knees(you can start doing it for 10 seconds and then increase the time).
Do this in combination with your balanced diet and you will see differences fast.
